On November 7, Mary Prudden, Executive Director of NKCF, joined The National Alliance for Eye Research in Washington, DC in recognition of the second annual World Keratoconus Day 2017 on behalf of AEVR’s Decade of Vision 2010-2020 Initiative.

Together with co-sponsors, Research to Prevent Blindness (RPB), National Keratoconus Foundation (NKCF), Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology (ARVO) , Eye Bank Association of America (EBAA), AEVR held a Congressional Briefing entitled Spearheading Keratoconus Research: A Quest for Novel Treatments that focused on Keratoconus.
