MD Enrollment Requirements
Ophthalmologists must hold current certification by the American Board of Ophthalmology, and have completed an ophthalmology residency and a fellowship in cornea and external disease. In addition, applicants should be a member of at least one of the following organizations: American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery (ASCRS), Cornea Society or International Keratoconus Academy.
