The International Keratoconus Academy (IKA) of Eye Care Professionals will host its 4th Annual IKA Keratoconus Symposium on Saturday, December 12, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt DFW Airport in Dallas, Texas. The one-day educational program is designed for optometrists, ophthalmologists, residents, and fellows involved in the care of patients with keratoconus.
This year’s symposium will focus on interventional keratoconus care and epithelium-on crosslinking, while emphasizing the multidisciplinary collaboration required to optimize patient outcomes. Educational sessions will address early disease detection, advanced corneal imaging, corneal biomechanics, corneal crosslinking, specialty contact lens management, surgical decision-making, postoperative care, and future innovations.
“The pace of innovation in keratoconus management has never been greater,” said Andrew S Morgenstern, OD, FAAO, FNAP, IKA president, co-founder, and co-chair. “This symposium will bring together many of the world’s leading experts to translate the latest scientific evidence into practical action steps attendees can immediately incorporate into their practices.” Continuing education credit is expected through COPE and CME accreditation.
